EU AI Act Readiness

EU AI Act Readiness

TL;DR
Graded Pro is being prepared to meet the EU AI Act requirements for high-risk AI systems in education. We use a teacher-in-the-loop design, show confidence and AI labels, and provide audit logs for schools. We will finalise our Annex IV technical file, Declaration of Conformity and EU authorised representative before 2 August 2026. Until then, we follow GDPR and do not use prohibited AI practices.

What Graded Pro is
AI-assisted grading for schools where teachers stay in control. No biometrics, no proctoring, no emotion recognition.

What we have in place

  • Teacher oversight with override and ignore controls

  • Confidence display and AI labels

  • Canonical audit logs and export

  • Data minimisation and six-month audit-log retention with legal hold

  • Evaluation plan with accuracy and fairness targets

  • Instructions for Use for teachers

What is coming for EU launch

  • Annex IV technical documentation and internal control checks

  • EU Declaration of Conformity and CE marking at the appropriate time

  • Appointment of an EU-based authorised representative

  • Post-market monitoring and incident workflow

Status and timing
We are not claiming EU AI Act conformity yet. Our target is full readiness before 2 August 2026. We will update this page as milestones are completed.
